Taiwan’s 7th Straight-month Grow in Export for January
According to the Ministry of Finance (MOF), Taiwan's exports rose for 7 consecutive months, boosted by surging global demand for remote tech devices amid the COVID-19 pandemic, new technologies, and a low comparison base in the same period of last year.
Exports grew 36.8 percent in January 2021 compared to January 2020. It is the highest monthly figure on record based on the data provided by MOF. The data also indicated that, on a month-to-month basis, Taiwan's outbound sales also rose 3.9 percent compared to December 2020.
